Place one heaped teaspoon of coconut oil in the mouth, allow to melt, then swish（沙沙的响） the oil around, pushing it through your teeth, over the tongue（舌头） and from cheek to cheek（面颊）, taking care to reach every area, but not swallowing（别吞了）. Continue for 15-20 minutes（持续15到20分钟）, then spit out（吐出来） the oil and clean your teeth with a natural toothpaste（再用牙膏刷个牙）. Oil pulling is best done on an empty stomach（最好是空腹情况下做）, for example first thing in the morning before breakfast.
